Just heard about this from a television show Philomena was watching - Cuddle Parties. Cuddle Parties are non-sexual pajama wearing events that allow people to get their touch needs met in a safe environment. Singles, of course, are particularly attracted to these events but are not limited to singles.

I remember when I was single and touch deprived. I know I would have greatly appreciated such an event. I wonder if it would be too far out for a church to offer something like this as an alternative kind of singles event. Perhaps I'll have to take a field trip to New York City and see for my self ... with my wife of course.
